Defend Freedom. Empower Patriots. Restore the Constitution.

We’re a grassroots movement fighting government overreach and standing for faith, family, and freedom. Join us in protecting the rights our nation was built on.

Sons of Liberty exists to...

Increase public awareness of government overreach and its impact on the constitutional rights, freedoms, and liberties of all American citizens—regardless of race, religion, or background.
Support and conduct non-partisan research, education, and outreach to inform the public about key issues relating to the protection and restoration of constitutional freedoms.
Provide resources and information to support organizations working to preserve the founding values of liberty, limited government, and individual rights.
Host reports, meetings, and workshops aimed at strengthening political and civic engagement, empowering communities to participate in the democratic process.
Educate citizens on the importance of supporting and funding initiatives that defend and restore civil liberties—regardless of political affiliation—so long as they champion freedom, justice, and accountability.
Organize inclusive community events that foster trust, friendship, and meaningful face-to-face connection among neighbors. We believe strong communities grow when people come together across differences to build a culture of service, patriotism, and mutual respect.

The people are the only legitimate fountain of power.

History of the Sons of Liberty

The Sons of Liberty, formed in 1765, were a courageous group of American patriots who rose in defiance of British tyranny. United under the rallying cry “No taxation without representation,” they organized protests, spread revolutionary ideas, and took bold action against unjust laws. Their efforts played a central role in igniting the American Revolution and laying the foundation for a new nation built on freedom and self-governance.

This movement wasn’t led by kings or generals—it was led by ordinary citizens with extraordinary courage. Figures like Samuel Adams, a master organizer and powerful voice for liberty; John Hancock, a wealthy merchant who used his resources to support the cause; Paul Revere, whose midnight ride warned militias of British troops; Joseph Warren, who gave his life at Bunker Hill.

Today, we proudly carry that same torch. The modern Sons of Liberty honor the legacy of our Founding Fathers by promoting faith, family, and freedom—and by holding government accountable to the people. We believe that the principles in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are just as relevant today as they were in 1776. Liberty, limited government, and personal responsibility are not partisan ideas—they are American ideals.

We welcome all who share in this mission—regardless of race, religion, political affiliation, or background. Like the original Sons of Liberty, we believe freedom is for everyone. Our movement is rooted in unity, respect, and the firm belief that every citizen has a role to play in protecting liberty and ensuring the blessings of freedom for generations to come.
